Managed by Exxon Mobil, Sarpom Refinery is continuously in development. With an effective capacity of 9 million tonnes per year, it is a strategic plant for the European market.

SYGMA’s construction manager has been responsible for this project in collaboration with the Foster Wheeler project team.

Saras Refinery has a production capacity of 300,000 barrels per day and 15 million tonnes per year, accounting for 15% of the Italian production.

The SYGMA site experience has been recognised for years in the European oil & gas projects. As far as the Saras Refinery project is regarded, SYGMA’s skills in construction management and piping have been one of the motivations for IDI to collaborate with us.

With a capacity of 55,000 barrels per day and around 2.3 million tonnes of annual production, Collombey Refinery plays an important role in the European market. Situated on the left bank of the Rhone River in the canton of Vallais, Collombey has been identified as one of the most energy-efficient refineries in Europe. For years, Collombey Refinery has renewed its partnership with SYGMA for its projects.

Various operators and supervisors from the SYGMA staff have been delegated to Tamoil for this project as well as mechanical fitters, pipe fitters, welders and electricians. A total of 25 people have been mobilised.

Constructed by Exxon Mobile Petroleum and situated in the area of Anvers, Belgium, Antwerp Refinery is one of the oldest and most productive refineries in Europe. Over the 10 past years, Foster Wheeler, a leading global engineering, and construction company, has collaborated with SYGMA for this as well as several other projects.

In this project, SYGMA has been responsible for the supervision of the erection of the oven and planning management.
